Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is currently hiring a Registered Nursefor the IMCU Department.This is a full-time Night shift (12-hr shift) position in Charlottesville, VA.

Intermediate Care Unit - Cornell 1: The Telemetry/Stroke Unit at Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital provides care for patients with cardiac conditions including heart failure, cardiac rhythm disturbances, newly-implanted permanent pacemakers and defibrillators, post- coronary interventions, post-ablation, myocardial infarctions. Cornell 1 also cares for TIA, acute stroke and post procedural neuro cases that stepdown from ICU. This 24 bed unit sees a ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 depending on patient acuity levels and is well supported with additional patient care technicians as well as a strong leadership team.

Requirements:

  • Degree or Diploma from an accredited Registered Nursing Program
  • Registered Nurse License
  • Students in the process of completing an accredited nursing program.
  • Students in the process of obtaining a Registered Nursing License

The Registered Nursing (RN) is responsible to perform a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
