Position Summary |
Individuals will assist researchers with tobacco duties to include transplanting, making counts, topping and suckering, weeding, harvesting tobacco leaves, loading and unloading curing barns, weighing cured leaf samples, grinding cured leaf samples and entering data. General farm duties include mowing grass, cleaning yards, cleaning buildings, painting, and repairing water lines. The majority of the work is outdoors between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. |

High School diploma is preferred, but will consider high school students. |

Physical Demands |
Physical requirements include the ability to work outdoors, bending, lifting, digging, and walking. Some activities are performed during inclement weather. |
