Job Title: Japanese Bilingual Sales Representative
Work Location: Downtown Los Angeles
FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time, Direct-Hire

OVERVIEW: Japanese Sake manufacturer is looking for a highly motivated Sales Representative to maintain and expand sales and cultivate relationships with distributors and restaurants. You will be 80% managing existing client relationships, and 20% identifying and securing new business opportunities. Qualified candidate has business-level proficiency in English and an advanced level in Japanese. The ideal candidate should have over two years of B2B sales experirnce, preffereably in food and beverage industry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT NOT ARE LIMITED TO:
Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, restaurants, and existing and potential client accounts.
Increase product awareness and sales collaborating with internal and external stake holders.
Provide prompt and excellent customer service in timely manner.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to key stakeholders.
Attend weekly meeting, updates on sales performance and important activities.
Plan and perform promotion activities such as food festival, conference, and other events.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, negotiating contracts collaborating with internal and external stake holders.
Set up and execute brand activations for each product collaborating with internal as well as external partners.
Research market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to provide insights for future strategies.
Travel as needed, 20% of travel is expected to foster relationships with key clients, attend industry events.
Other duties may be assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Japanese and English bilingual - B usiness-level proficiency in English and an advanced level in Japanese required.

B2B Sales experience required.

Strong understanding in Japanese culture.
Food/beverage/ alcohol related experience is a plus.
Willingness to travel domestically and internationally. (expected 20% )
Willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally for events and meetings.
