Responsibilities:

Explain procedure to patient and answer all questions and concerns.
Preparing machinery/equipment for use as needed, including cleaning and sanitizing all necessary surfaces.
Prepare examination room for testing.
Prepare patient for testing by giving adequate instructions and removing necessary clothing and jewelry and positioning patients accordingly for imaging exams.
Monitor patients during exams.
Document accurate and relevant information in regards to provider's instruction.
Ensuring patient is safe and comfortable before and after exams.
Operate equipment for imaging and anything related on various areas of the body in order to provide high quality images and information for patient diagnosis.
Communicate effectively with other radiologists and health care professionals to ensure the all possible diagnosis and treatment are presented to the patient.
Follow and comply with government regulations and to ensure the safety of patients and staff
Evaluate MRI scans for technical quality, organize processed images and sequence of exposure and label appropriately.

Requirements:

MRI Tech Certification
Graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technologist Training Program approved by the American Medical Association.
