DESCRIPTION
Reporting to the Senior Director of Development for the School of Global Policy and Strategy (GPS), the Director of Development (DOD) will be a frontline fundraiser responsible for successfully executing major gift strategies from identification through stewardship. The DOD will manage an individual portfolio of prospects capable of giving major gifts in excess of $100,000 through the development cycle to reach annual fundraising and donor engagement goals. The DOD will possess a comprehensive understanding of university and academic unit priorities, regularly meeting with prospects and donors (with a focus on face-to-face visits) and with development colleagues and academic leaders. The DOD will collaborate on and execute strategic plans; prepare stewardship materials, leadership briefings and gift proposals; attend and staff events; and/or supervise projects as assigned. The DOD will be able to work successfully in a complex environment collaborating with GPS, Advancement and University partners. QUALIFICATIONS
Job offer is contingent on clear Background Check. Must have access to reliable transportation. Occasional evenings and weekends may be required. Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $112,100 - $216,500 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $53.69 - $103.69 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
