Title: Clerk IV (Education Abroad Administrative Coordinator) Executive Area: Academic Affairs College/School/MBU: Admin Support Units Department: Office of Global Affairs Work Location: Amherst Schedule:Full Time Work Arrangement:Hybrid Job Summary The Global Education Administrative Coordinator (Clerk IV) provides administrative support for outreach, transcript and study abroad application processing, and front-line generalist advising for Global Education within the Office of Global Affairs (OGA). Essential Functions Manages Study Abroad fair planning and logistics in collaboration with the Associate Director of Global Education; provides day-of-event support and tracks attendance. Liaises with OGA's Communication and Marketing Manager to achieve maximum visibility of OGA events; coordinates orders of branded marketing materials for the department. Other Functions Performs related duties as assigned or required to meet department, executive area/division and university goals. Minimum Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent and at least two (2) years of experience providing customer service or administrative support, preferably in an office setting. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree. Working Conditions Work is performed in a standard office or indoor university environment and involves minimal physical exertion. Work Schedule and Work Arrangement Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week. Occasional nights and weekends as required. International and domestic travel as required. This position has the opportunity for a hybrid work schedule, which is defined by the University as an arrangement where an employee's work is regularly performed at a location other than the campus workspace for a portion of the week. As this position falls within the University Staff Association, it is subject to the terms and conditions of the University Staff Association collective bargaining agreement.
