POSITION SUMMARY This position at the Danville Distribution Center will be required to perform tasks related to program editing, set-up, operation, trouble-shooting and preventive maintenance for CNC machines, custom process machines and production support equipment. The successful candidate must be able to accurately read manufacturing prints, machine drawings and operator's manuals, adjust tooling and process parameters, interpret programs and interact with outside service technicians to solve problems. Additionally, the candidate must be able to operate material handling equipment, use a variety of measuring equipment, and perform other miscellaneous tasks. This individual will train on the first shift and then after proper training, will transfer to the 2nd or 3rd shift, depending on business need. Must be experienced in operating and setup of a variety of CNC machines and other processing equipment. The candidate must possess detailed reading comprehension and intermediate mathematical skills to accomplish the job requirements. This individual will be required to train other associates, as required, in equipment set-up, operation and trouble-shooting along with various other manufacturing processes and procedures. Will be subjected to dust, filings, chips, heat, and noise in the normal performance of their duties. The use of PPE is stipulated. RESPONSIBILITIES Vertical Machining Operations
