Position Summary: Performs maintenance, installation, and repair work on HVAC systems, equipment, and components. Also, performs installations, repairs, and fabrication of sheet metal/metal components related to HVAC and other trades. This work is performed under general supervision and using the tools and techniques of HVAC technology. Competencies: Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of formal training in the HVAC trade at a vocational or technical school, college, or apprenticeship sponsor organization. Knowledge: Knowledge of HVAC theory, techniques, codes, procedures, and materials. Knowledge of safety rules, procedures, and practices, including the proper use of safety equipment as defined by OSHA and industry standards. Knowledge of sheet metal installation, repairs, and fabrication. Required Licensure, Certification, etc.: HVAC Journeyman's License Work Experience: 5 years related work experience. The full-time equivalent spent in a state-approved program may count toward the 5-year work experience requirement. Shift: Full Time ( 40 hours) , Evening Shift - 3:30pm - 11:00pm Salary Range: Minimum [[CustSalaryMin per hour - Maximum [[CustSalaryMax per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
