The Field Service Technician role is an opportunity for Electrical Engineers to build a career in an industry that is challenged to support the future of the power grid. S&C Electric Co is growing and the need for additional Field Service Technicians is critical to meet demand. The Field Services Leadership team has more than 30 years of experiences collectively which provides a great opportunity for new team members to learn, grow, and bridge skill sets. The Field Services Engineering team is critical to supporting our customers by installing, repairing, and troubleshooting equipment to maintain electrical power services globally. S&C provides solutions for customers worldwide. S&C Electric Co. has launched a training program to provide customized training for Field Service Technicians.
S&C DOD Skillbridge Criteria
Job Title: Upon completion of the Field Service Technician training courses, this SkillBridge training program will prepare the Service member to become a Field Service Technician. Compensation Service member will continue to receive salary/benefits from military during training program. Cost of Program There is no cost to service member. Reimbursement for room and board during program. Length of Training: Field Service Technician is a 400-hour, 10-week training program, minimum 30 sessions. 200 hours in class instruction. 200 hours of hands-on instruction. Meeting five days a week for 8-hour training sessions daily. Location(s) The service member can select to train in: TX, IL, FL or AZ |
