Century 4 is a 36-bed Respiratory Telemetry unit. The goal of the unit is to provide high quality care delivered by skilled clinicians knowledgeable in the care of the respiratory patient. Each patient receives treatment and excellent care by registered nurses and Certified Nursing assistants. The focus of care in this unit varies, including patients with acute pulmonary conditions, including chronic ventilated patients. Maintaining expertise and quality care in this diverse population of patients is the mission of the Century 4 Unit. Our team consists of professionals from varied disciplines who add support whenever needed in the area of nutrition, pharmacy, respiratory therapy, rehabilitation and care coordination.

We are searching for a Registered Nurse to perform a variety of duties involving coordinating total nursing care for patients, participating in patient and family teaching and providing leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing and other patient team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice within an assigned patient care unit. Has knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, which is appropriate to the age group of patients regularly served. May assume Charge responsibility for assigned personnel and activities as required or directed.

• Shift: Evening shift with weekend and holiday rotation
• Hours: 24 standard hours flex up to 32 hours (3:00pm-11:00pm)
• Location: Century 4- St. Luke's Hospital New Bedford, MA

Education and/or Experience Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent is required.
• Current RN Licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required.
• Three (3) months experience is preferred.

Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

$9,600 with a minimum 3+ years of nursing experience.
$8,000 with 1+ years of nursing experience.
$6,000 with less than 1 year of nursing experience (new grads are eligible!)
Must be a new hire OR a rehire termed greater than 1 year to be eligible
