The SRM Senior Analyst will play a critical role in shaping Nestle Professional Solutions' profitability and growth through effective pricing and trade initiatives, key business insights, and strategy implementation.

As a Senior Analyst, you will develop strategies that optimize revenue and maintain the sustainable long-term health of the business while also ensuring a successful execution. This position will be responsible for strategic assessment across our product portfolio and will work closely with cross-functional teams within Finance, Sales, Marketing, Commercial Development, and Supply Chain to ensure a comprehensive analysis. You will oversee all pricing, including pricing terms and trade strategy, pricing strategy for seasonal and new item launches, and price list and playbook management.

The Senior Analyst must achieve fluency in databases and systems to perform detailed external and internal data analyses that will help the team make business-critical decisions.

Responsibilities:

  • In close collaboration with other Finance and cross functional teams, leads consumer-based trade strategies and creates long-term profitable growth
  • Drives pricing and trade strategy, supports and monitors implementation, and evaluates performance on an ongoing basis, providing recommendations to improve pricing realization and implementation quality assurance and integrity
  • Develops pricing recommendations based on financial impact analysis and understanding of implications to brand and category portfolio, sales, finance, operations, supply chain, and overall business objectives
  • Monitors performance data and competitor strategies for insights into the business, brands, and overall market for early indications of customer trends, providing proactive and data-based recommendations to leverage opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Participates in and provides support to cross-functional teams, conducting analysis and providing input to support objectives
  • Facilitates discussions with cross functional teams, presents data-driven point-of-views, and contributes to bi-annual Pricing Business Review with Senior Leaders
  • Leads team process improvement, training for new hires, and provides mentorship to new teammates

Requirements & Skills:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree required. Bachelor's in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Economics, or related discipline preferred, or an additional 2 years of experience in lieu of this degree.
  • At least 2+ years progressive responsibility in pricing, sales, finance, category management or similar function.
  • Ability to formulate pricing strategies that enhance brand value for customers and connect with the overall strategy of the Nestle Professional + Nestle Solutions Lab business.
  • Expertise with database querying or business intelligence tools such as Excel, SQL Server, SSRS, PowerBI, Alteryx, or Tableau.
  • Creative problem-solver with demonstrated experience with data analysis, data modeling, and syndicated data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to articulate complex data results and succinct analysis across various teams and levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills, with ability to balance multiple projects in fast-paced environment.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion in a timely manner.

Theapproximate payrange for this position is $90,000 to $120,000.Please note that thepay rangeprovided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
