A Compounder is responsible for processing materials by blending, mixing, heating, cooling, milling, and/or de-aerating as per formula instructions. The Compounder is responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of the product produced.

Basic ability to read, write and speak English is required to comply with verbal directions, signs, policies and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Weighs and dispenses the materials listed on the compounding formula.

* Identifies containers, vessels and processing equipment with the appropriate information to indicate the product being contained or processed.

* Matches all labels with batch records.

* Documents processes as per formula and SOP.

* Loads and unloads raw materials onto the HILO and into the tanks.

* Monitors the compounding process periodically and reports any abnormal conditions to the supervisor.

* Washes and sanitizes the tanks, equipment and work area after a job is completed.

* Maintains a clean and orderly work area.

* Responsible for adhering to all SOPs, cGMPs, and safety requirements and procedures.

* Performs all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

* Physical ability to lift, stand, climb, bend, within in a manufacturing environment

* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

* Work environment may be exposed to powders, chemicals and allergens (peanuts, tree nuts, milk, dairy, eggs, wheat, gluten, soy, fish and shellfish)

EXPERIENCE:

* Prior manufacturing experience preferred

SKILLS:

* Ability to write simple correspondence

* Basic mathematical skills

* Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions

* Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc... within a manufacturing environment

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $18.50-$21.00*.Please note that thepayrangeprovidedis a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may varybased on factorsincluding but not limited to knowledge, skills and abilities as well as geographic location.
