The anticipated salary range for this role is between $146,000.00and $185,000.00. The specific salary offered to an applicant will be based on their individual qualifications, experiences, and an analysis of the current compensation paid in their geography and the market for similar roles at the time of hire. The role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive award. In addition to cash compensation, SMBC offers a competitive portfolio of benefits to its employees.

Role Description

We are looking for QA Lead to join our team and ensure the quality and reliability of our Finance applications. You will be responsible for planning, designing, and executing tests to verify the functionality, accuracy, security, and compliance of our applications and platforms. You will work closely with software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify and resolve software defects and issues.

To be successful in this role, you should have proven experience in quality assurance and software testing especially within Finance application landscape. You should also have knowledge of basic accounting concepts, terminology, and processes, as well as proficiency in various testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks. Additionally, you should have excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills, as well as attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.

Role Objectives: Delivery

Responsibility:

* Design, execute, and document test cases and scenarios for various financial applications and platforms.
* Identify, report, and track software defects and issues.
* Collaborate with software developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality standards and requirements are met.
* Perform regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.
* Review and validate data and reports
* Ensure adherence to regulatory guidelines and best practices for data integrity, privacy, and security

Qualifications and Skills

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field
* 8+ years of experience in quality assurance and finance applications testing
* Knowledge of basic accounting concepts and terminology
* Proficiency in various testing tools, methodologies, and frameworks
* Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve problems
* Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality.
* Excellent communication, collaboration and documentation skills.
