The Indirect Tax Team manages and is responsible for sales and use tax, property tax, business license tax, unclaimed property, IRS 1099 & 1042 reporting, federal and state withholdings, and Canada and Australia International GST/HST returns for all The Capital Group Companies (CGC) corporate entities and its affiliates. As a Global Finance Senior Tax Accountant, you will assume a pivotal role within our Indirect Tax Compliance Team. You will play a key role in ensuring Capital Group adheres to tax regulations and remains compliant with necessary filings across various states and local jurisdictions. You'll use your analytical and keen attention to detail skills to extract essential support and data from our system(s) to ensure completeness and accuracy for our return filings for the diverse tax types overseen by our Indirect Tax Team. To thrive in this role, you've worked in indirect taxes within a large organization, with a complex financial structure. "I am the person Capital Group is looking for."
San Antonio Base Salary Range: $58,697-$93,915 In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
