About This Role: The Veterinary Health Center (VHC) within the College of Veterinary Medicine is seeking a Veterinary Nurse I, II, or III to join our dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team to help provide exemplary patient care. This position holds many engaging responsibilities including helping to provide vital care for critical patients, operating medical equipment, and performing or assisting in technical procedures. Nurses on this team assist in day-to-day responsibilities like monitoring medical records, organizing technical work, maintaining equipment and supply statuses, as well as coordinating animal treatments. Completion of a two-year college program in veterinary and animal technology accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Completion of a two-year college program in veterinary and animal technology accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association and two years of relevant experience.
Completion of a two-year college program in veterinary or animal technology accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and five years of relevant experience as a veterinary technician (RVT, LVT, CVT) after passing the Veterinary Technician National Exam.
