Wyman-Gordon Pennsylvania, a division of Precision Castparts Corporation (PCC), is a manufacturing leader of Flash Welded and Cold Rolled near net shaped rings for the Aerospace Industry. We are currently seeking a highly motivated Machine Operator for our Tru Form facility located in Wilkes-Barre. The Machine Operator tends fabricating machines such as rolls, presses, forming machines, spinning machines and both conventional and CNC lathes that form and cut aerospace alloys in ring form. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands; reach with hands and arm. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENTWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
