Work Schedule:

Per diem. 8-hour day shifts, Monthly weekend requirements also annual holiday requirements. Additional weekday and weekend shifts available as needed. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of department.

We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant who:



  • Provides rehabilitative treatment interventions to complex patients admitted to the acute hospital.
  • Assists Supervising Physical Therapist in guiding patient population through appropriate individualized treatment to meet goals and objectives.
  • Efficiently communicates and works collaboratively with Physical Therapists and interdisciplinary teams to carry out comprehensive, evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans.
  • Demonstrates a high degree of independence, flexibility and adaptability working in in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Education:

Minimum - Associate Degree as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Work Experience:

Minimum - Prior healthcare experience.

Preferred - Professional experience as a Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant.

Licenses and Certifications:

Minimum - State of Wisconsin licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Basic Life Support (BLS) within three months of hire.
