Principal Food Service Worker- Ronald Reagan Medical Center

Description As a Food Service Worker, you will perform a variety of duties in the assembly, delivery, and service of patient's meals. Duties include the cleaning, sanitation, and maintenance of equipment and work areas.
Responsibilities include:
* Assemble meal trays accurately and presentably while working in a fast-paced environment.
* Present menus to patients and assist them with menu selections as needed.
* Distribute menus according to diet master list.
* Collect trays after each meal and deliver food cart to the elevators.
* Prepare and deliver snacks to patients.
* Maintain proper sanitation practices in food handling and equipment use.
* Work in dish room, pot room, and perform housekeeping duties.
Salary Range: $19.94-23.71 Hourly
Qualifications * Ability to follow standardized recipes.
* Knowledge of general and nutrient modified diets.
* Able to read and write standard English.
* Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
* Ability to work in standing position for a long period of time; stretch, bend, walk, stoop, and reach repetitively.
* Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or wet areas; lift 40 pounds, push/pull loaded carts weighing 350 pounds.
* Ability to conform to dress code, per infection prevention policies and procedures.
* Ability to practice safe food handling techniques.
* Must have the ability to adjust to fluctuating work load and adhere to production schedules.
* Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors and managers.
