MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Secret Clearance (Must be eligible for Top Secret clearance).
  • Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Active Top-Secret Clearance
  • Familiarity with Research and Development (R&D) Pipelines (identification, evaluation, integration, testing)
  • Experience researching, identifying, and transitioning innovative technologies
  • Familiarity with System Requirements and Key Performance Points Analysis

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Analyzes existing systems and defines, designs, and develops new system requirements
  • Determines system specifications, input/output processes, and working parameters for hardware/software compatibility
  • Coordinates design of subsystems and integration of total system
  • Identifies, analyzes, and resolves program support deficiencies
  • Assists in delivering presentations to management and/or the customer.
  • Researches, designs, develops, tests, or supervises the manufacturing and installation of electrical equipment, components, or systems for commercial industrial, military, or scientific use
  • Researches and implements integrations between various new/existing systems to provide new functionality
  • Troubleshoots existing systems and identification of system shortfalls
  • Researches, identifies, and recommends new innovative systems and technology as well as improvements for existing system functionality
  • Develops new system documentation to support system transition
