Targeting Analyst

MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • 5-8 years' experience with targeting operations and analysis
  • Understanding of cyber operations and network analysis
  • Graduate of service targeting school or equivalent
  • Operational experience integrating cyber and joint targeting
  • Experience in various stages of the targeting cycle
  • Background in operational level target analysis, AOC/CCMD equivalent
  • Ability to travel, interface directly with the customer, work independently or as part of a team, and provide written status to management.
  • Prepare briefings to communicate findings in clear and concise terms to military, IC partners, and other stakeholders


DESIRED SKILLS:



  • Knowledge of all-source intelligence, SIGINT, IMINT, and HUMINT
  • Ability to communicate effectively, organize activities, analyze threat data, and present solutions to complex problems
  • Ability to research, analyze, and fuse complex data sets and generate leads to advance dynamic objectives collection and analysis
  • Develop and maintain relationships with CCMDs, members of the IC, and other government agencies for planning and coordination

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Provides support to the Air Force Targeting Enterprise, to include the full range of targeting options, to include Information Warfare (IW), and Cyber targeting support
  • Being a subject matter expertise to include familiarity with Air Force Targeting Enterprise, Target Systems Analysis, Intermediate/Advanced Target Development, and Combat Assessments.
  • Routinely provides advice to leadership on all principles of the Joint Targeting Cycle, including cyberspace operations target nomination, deconfliction, and planning
  • Conducts support to aid in the development of 16AF/CDRAFCYBER objectives, operations plans, and other component commander objectives; performs target development in conjunction with Air Force operational entities and other government agencies as required
  • Coordinates targeting strategy development and engagement responsibilities within the Targeting Coordination Board processes to include assessments and analysis
