Overview

We are currently seeking a summer intern for a 2-3 months program supporting our Corporate Accounting/Treasury team on a variety of important projects during the summer months, such as Depository Bank Account Automation project, Lease Accounting Catch-up Projects, as well as Fixed Asset administration related workstreams.

Candidate must be able to work part-time on site at our Linthicum, MD office.



Responsibilities

    Assist in performing duties and projects, such as but not limited to, verify invoices, process invoices, and any projects as they relate to AP.
  • Assist Central Lease Accounting team with Invoice/PO matching and Fixed Asset administration related workstreams.
  • Gain understanding of fixed assets, reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement reviews.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Full-time student enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited 4-year College or University. Students should be entering their junior or senior year.
  • Pursuing a degree program with a major in Finance or Accounting
  • Technical skills are a must
  • Business Math proficiency
  • Demonstrate ability to interact with people at various corporate levels
  • Demonstrate ability to solve problems independently
  • Demonstrate ability to organize and prioritize work
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Access, and Power Point
