Summer Hospitality Assistant (Temporary)

Cooley is seeking a Temporary Summer Hospitality Assistant to join the Boston Office Hospitality and Guest Services team.

Position Summary:

To provide temporary summer hospitality support to the Boston office.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Act as relief receptionist on designated schedule to cover for Receptionist breaks and meal period. Duties include answering phones, greeting visitors, ensuring all visitors are logged in, coordinating/announcing visitor arrival and other duties assigned at the receptionist desk.

  • Work closely with Receptionist and Guest Services Specialist to manage all aspects of refreshment and catering needs for onsite meetings. This includes providing beverages, utensils, serve ware, tableware, etc. in a neat and professional presentation, and cleaning up the conference room after the meeting is over.

  • Maintain coffee bars and kitchen areas: stock and replenish all pantry and coffee supplies, clean coffee pots and make fresh coffee as needed, empty and load dishwashers each morning and at the end of the day and clean out refrigerators and ice makers on a weekly basis.

  • Maintain general order in conference rooms: push in chairs; clear away papers from meetings; maintain supplies in credenzas.

  • Assist with scheduling office space for visiting attorneys.

  • All other duties as required.

Skills & Experience

Required:

  • After orientation at Cooley LLP, exhibit proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and other Cooley applications.

  • Understanding of office equipment and technology.

The expected hourly pay range for this position is $17.00/hour.
