Operations Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION
To provide properly trained, qualified and certified Sensor Operator Instructoraircrew to augment USMC FRSI's at VMUT-2 to enable and sustain student throughput IAW DCMAINST8210.1 (series). MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Training and Experience: Prior MQ-9 Sensor Operator training, specifically the United States Air Force (USAF) MQ-9 Sensor Operator Initial Qualification Training course (IQT), USMC MQ-9 Sensor Operator Training Course at VMUT-2, or industry equivalent MQ-9 Sensor Operator Training Course (General Atomics-ASI, L3-Harris, Albers, etc.). Valid FAA First, Second or Third-Class Airman Medical Certificate, or a current DD Form 2992 at the GFR's discretion, reflecting the individual is medically cleared for flight duty. No less than 550 flight hours as Sensor Operator in MQ-9 aircraft (up to 50% of that MQ-9 flight time can be conducted in simulator) and no less than 25 hours of MQ-9 instructor time. Minimum five year's experience as a sensor operator required, ten years preferred. General Skills: Must be able to handle multiple tasks, a self-starter, flexible in work assignments, detail oriented, highly organized, possess good interpersonal and written communication skills, and work under limited supervision. Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Desired Experience: Previous MQ-9 Sensor Instructor required. Security Clearance: Must currently possess security clearance of "Secret" or higher. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
