Residence Life Overnight Specialist

This position is in Salary Grade CS1, with a minimum salary of $16.71 per hour. The successful candidate's salary will be calculated based on education and experience within the salary grade range. This position is eligible for full-time fringe benefits package.

The purpose of this position is to oversee nightly activities at the residence life front desk, and oversee the safety of residents. This is accomplished by providing service and information to students, staff, prospective students and visitors; supervise residents overnight and report any unusual behavior; ensure safety and security of residence halls overnight; respond to crisis situations; other duties include working non-traditional hours; documenting incidents through typed or written reports.

High school diploma

Over one year and up to and including three years in an administrative position

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, multi-task and prioritize multiple priorities required. Ability to address emergency situations and refer to the appropriate parties, as well as work with partners such as campus security.
