Position Summary:

Build and assemble projects based on customer specifications utilizing wiring diagrams, schematics, work orders and pictures provided. Provide quality products as well as meet the production schedule for all projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Assemble projects to customer and/or vendor specifications.
  • Assist in production of various phases of assemblies, but also be able to produce a turnkey project from start to finish with direction provided by manager.
  • Perform light manufacturing of multiple product categories in a fast-paced build shop, following defined processes for manufacturing accuracy.
  • Effectively respond to and interact with all levels of Capital team members and other departments, and with vendors.
  • Participate in and follow all Capital policies, guidelines, and procedures (safety, Anti-Harassment, Ethics, etc.).
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years electrical and/or mechanical background, including warehousing and assembly.
  • Strong organization skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite: Excel, Word, Power Point
  • Strong mechanical and analytical aptitude, along with understanding and basic knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical schematics
  • Good manual dexterity and experience with power and hand tools, and engraving equipment
  • Ability to work well independently and as a team member and collaboratively across departments.
  • Ability to lift 75 lbs.
  • No vision hinderances in relation to color
