Director of Equity Compliance & Title IX Coordinator About Curry College: Founded in 1879, Curry College is a private, four-year, liberal arts-based institution in Milton Massachusetts. In addition to the main campus classes for adult learners are also offered at our campus at Cordage Park in historic Plymouth. Curry College is accredited by the New England Commission of Higher Education (NECHE). Job Description: The Director of Equity Compliance serves as the Title IX Coordinator, and the Affirmative Action, Equal Opportunity (AA/EO), ADA/Section 504 Coordinator, and ensures compliance with these laws and policies and all related state and federal regulations. We expect the candidates for the role to have at least two years of experience as a Title IX coordinator with the appropriate certifications. The Director will provide leadership in promoting an understanding of these regulations and policies within a college community that is student-centered, mission-focused, and committed to student and employee success. The position manages the College's Title IX efforts, including ensuring that all members of the campus community are well informed about their rights and responsibilities under Title IX, which prohibits sex and/or gender-based discrimination in all educational programs and activities. The responsibilities include planning, organization, and implementation of Curry College's institutional compliance with federal and state regulations regarding unlawful discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
