Field Engineer

The Project Engineer is primarily responsible for engineering related tasks at Matrix NAC job sites. These projects could consist of piping projects, cryogenic tanks or turnkey facilities. These facilities are utilized by the petroleum, natural gas, alternate energy and aerospace industries.

• Actively supports the Company's commitment to safety and its "Core "
• Represents the Company at all times with high moral standards while adhering to the Company's "Code of Business Conduct and "
• Present at job sites during construction and assists the construction team with the interpretation of engineering drawings, specifications and other technical documents.
• Documents and assists in the resolution of technical issues that arise at the job site.
• Layouts the locations for key features of the facility under construction.
• Performs receipt inspection of incoming materials.
• Conducts and documents facility performance tests.
• Assists the construction superintendent regarding construction planning and record keeping.
• When not assigned to a job site, assigned to the Broomall office to perform project engineering tasks in support of current projects.
• Travels to meetings with customers and vendors as required.
• Works on special projects as assigned and directed by supervisor.
• Performs other related duties, as directed.

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Construction Management, Engineering Technology or Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral, and good organizational skills
• Ability to perform with some supervision
• Ability to work on multiple activities at one time
• Strong computer skills, including Excel and MS Word are preferred
