Job Description



Position Summary:

The Customer Service Supervisor is responsible for strategic oversight of all Divisional customer service operations within the order management process. Position will interact on a daily basis with customers, production, logistics, and sales staff to effectively meet customer service standards and support the Division's strategic initiatives.

Scope/ Supervision and Interaction:

Position will directly report to Division Commercial Manager and supervises related customer service personnel.

Essential Functions:
  • Overseeing and assessing customer service staff activities and providing them with regular performance-related feedback.
  • Optimizing the various customer service operations to improve the overall Parker Customer Experience
  • Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations.
  • Assisting customer service staff with duties where required.
  • Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies.
  • Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies and explaining these to staff and customers.
  • Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities.
  • Maintaining the daily/ monthly customer claims process including corrective actions.
  • Customer specific assignments
  • Administer customer specific rebate and discount program(s)

Performing additional duties where needed.

Qualifications:

-Bachelor's college degree in business or related discipline required.

-Possess analytical and technical skills required to understand business practices and processes.

-Minimum 3 yrs in a manufacturing/distribution environment with supervisory experience.

-Must possess advanced computer software skills and ERP software systems.

-Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for effective interface with all internal and external contacts.

-Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

-Local candidates only, relocation benefits are not being provided.
