The unique opportunity offers a hybrid of community retail with rural institutional experience.

The retail portion is considered low volume with the opportunity to maximize patient outreach in many different ways, including, but not limited to MTM, diabetes clinics, assisting elderly patients to select Medicare plans suited to their individual needs.

The institutional aspect allows pharmacists to provide inpatient care, direct P&T meetings, and participate in Quality Improvement programs in an intimate setting.

This is an excellent practice for the pharmacist who still enjoys interacting with patients and desires a setting to use and expand their clinical knowledge. The candidate will also have access to resources and is supported by a local designated Senior Director of Operations with the PharMerica Hospital Services Division.

The position is offered at full time Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with an hour lunch.
