Essential Functions Job Summary The Institute of Texan Cultures at UTSA seeks an energetic and creative head curator as we embark on our path to becoming a museum of the future that celebrates the rich stories of Texas - past, present, and future. The Head Curator will play an integral role in implementing the new vision for the ITC resulting from the ITC Centennial 2068 visioning process. Provides creative leadership and implements the exhibition schedule for the ITC; supervises the ITC exhibits, visitor services, and education teams and works collaboratively across departments within Libraries and Museums to deliver a holistic visitor-centered experience; and will develop long-range planning of the exhibitions, manages schedule and contracts, and directs curatorial staff with collaborative oversight of community engagement programming.
