MINIMUM SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS:



  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and at least five years' work related experience or a Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science and three years' work related experience or a Ph.D. in a relevant technical discipline or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Must have a good working knowledge of object oriented design (OOD) principles and general software design concepts
  • Must have a good understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, algorithms, and operating system concepts
  • Must have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Must have some familiarity of parallelism, concurrency, or threading in a distributed environment
  • Must have some familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and practices
  • Must be comfortable developing software in a Linux-based environment

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Perform as a mid-level Software Engineer using modern C++ for development of Radio Frequency (RF) emitter products and solutions
  • Assist in the designing, developing, testing, troubleshooting, and debugging of software programs and software-intensive systems
  • Assist in supporting and/or installing software applications
  • Participate in the prototype testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing, certification of software, and provide inputs for documentation
