Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant- Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgery

Work Schedule:

100% FTE This will be a full time position working primarily 8:00am-5:00pm Monday thru Friday with occasional hours earlier or later than standard schedule.

Description:

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to:



  • Work closely with our surgeons to provide Remarkable care for new and returning patients in the Foot and Ankle Clinic.
  • Help manage patients post operatively, including performing post op wound care.
  • First and second assist in the Operating Room.
  • Responsible for performing inpatient rounds.


Education:

Minimum -

If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program

If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Masters from Accredited PA program

Licenses and Certifications:

If Nurse Practitioner:



  • Active RN and APNP license in State of Wisconsin AND
  • Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following: Adult; Adult/Gerontology Acute Care; Adult/Gerontology Primary Care or Family


If Physician Assistant:

* Active PA license in State of Wisconsin AND

* Active PA board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have:

* Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
