Position: IT Project Manager


Essential Accountabilities:

* Prepare and maintain project scope, work plans, budgets, issues lists and other project documentation for assigned projects. Utilize established Main Line Health (MLH) project methodology and tools to manage the project and track status and deliverables.

* Proactively identify, resolve and/or escalate issues that could impact project schedules. Work with Project Team, Management, and Vendor resources to remediate technical, operational or resource issues to maintain project schedule.

* Identify and coordinate the use of resources within the agency and across the system. These resources will be used for project support, regarding the installation of hardware, operations, and network features to support the implementation of the application.

* Coordinate minor and major releases related to the products within the responsible area; responsible for developing all work plans related to the installation and implementation of appropriate releases.

* Serve as focal point for project communication. Prepare and present project status reports, issues lists and other project documentation to workgroup and steering committees at regular intervals.

* Partner with business unit management to lead project workgroup and technical team discussions. Insure that tasks and timelines are clearly communicated and issues appropriately documented and acted upon.

* Participate in applicable project steering meetings. Summarize and communicate project status, key issues and any projected risks/remediation plans. Insure that information communicated is clear, avoids use of technical jargon and is geared to audience and their operational concerns.

* Monitor all related project activity, identify issues, analyze root cause and recommend solutions to ensure project accuracy and completeness.

Experience:

* Minimum two (2) years recent healthcare information system experience with one (1) year recent project management experience desirable.

Education:

Education: Bachelors Degree in IS, Business, Computer Science, Health Care Administration, Nursing, or application related field from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
