Preference will be given to candidate possessing the following: A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in Public Administration or Marketing, two years of full-time professional satisfactory experience within the last five years that demonstrates event planning, management and coordination, allocation of resources, and the prioritizing of time and resources. We are seeking a professional candidate who has prior event planning/project management experience (large scale events) a willingness and ability to support the organizations mission statement regarding safety and security of the public strong analytical skills ability to multi-task and be able to work independently. 55a Program

New York City residency is generally required within 90 days of appointment. However, City Employees in certain titles who have worked for the City for 2 continuous years may also be eligible to reside in Nassau, Suffolk, Putnam, Westchester, Rockland, or Orange County.
