We are currently seeking students in accounting and/or finance curriculums to an accounting internship within our General Accounting team at our Headquarters facility in Springfield, Missouri. This position offers up to 40 hours a week during the summer with the opportunity to continue during the 2024-2025 school year. Normal working days are Monday through Friday. You could also potentially receive course credit while working at AECI! Contact your school's career center for more information.

Qualified applicants must be currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance. You must also be enrolled in school at the time of the internship.

As an intern in the General Accounting departments, tasks may include:

  • Preparing and posting journal entries
  • Accounts receivable billing
  • End of month reports
  • Reconciliations
  • Workpapers for the annual audit
  • Special projects as assigned
