This role is a key member of the analytics team and is responsible for fostering a strong partnership throughout the company to deliver analytical support to various departments including Finance, Incentive Compensation, Sales, Marketing, and Leadership. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, strategic program tracking, creating reports and dashboards, building business reviews, Incentive Compensation support and other functions as needed. Leveraging a deep understanding of the company's systems, the analyst will extract data, identify key insights, and provide recommendations to stakeholders for them to make informed decisions. The position requires strong analytical and presentation skills as interfacing with multiple functions across the company is critical to the candidate's success. The Responsibilities * Consults with stakeholders to develop standard and advanced performance reporting and analysis, build reports and sales tools, and perform ad hoc analytics. * Partners with business leaders to identify and drive revenue gaining opportunities. * Performs ad-hoc data analysis providing insights on customers, products, distribution, and vendor dynamics. * Analyzes business, territory, and financial performance, identifies issues, and recommends solutions to business partners or Senior Analysts. * Assists with data preparation of external and internal business reviews, while also supporting data management for Incentive Compensation, territory alignments and CRM support. * Reviews salesforce trends and delivers monthly commentary for management reviews. * Prioritizes tasks based on supervisor input and aligns work with business processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. * Performs other special projects as assigned, including in-depth analysis of sales and commercial operations performance. * Proficient in Power BI, CRM systems, and strong excel skills. * Perform other work-related duties as assigned. The Individual Required: * Education: Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or finance related discipline required. Preferred: * Experience in a sales or healthcare environment preferred. Working across functions and departments, this individual will have extensive contact internally. This individual will provide input to and otherwise support the Senior Analyst team. The nature of contacts will be primarily to gather and share information. The Work EnvironmentGeneral office environment or work from home. No strenuous physical activity, though occasional light lifting of files and related materials is required. 40% of time in meetings, working with team, or talking on the phone, 60% of the time at the desk on computer, doing analytical work. Occasional travel required. Travel includes airplane, automobile travel and overnight hotel. Salary TransparencyThe salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on that facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $57,000 to $98,000 and is eligible for incentive compensation.
