After reviewing the position description, if you feel you are a fit for our organization and possess the required qualifications, we invite you to apply: The Training Technician, Army G3 supports the mission of the USAACE G3 and training brigades and Capability Development and Integration Directorate (CDID) by providing analysis, assessment, coordination, and support for functions related to Chief, Faculty and Staff, and Directorate of Training Division (DOTD) to enhance analysis, assessment, coordination, integration, synchronization, interconnectivity, and program development between USAACE and the relevant Community of Practice (CoP). Duties may include, but are not limited to: MAJOR DUTIES:
- Provides technical assistance throughout the Faculty and Staff Branch by compiling and consolidating information/data to finalize training development reports and decision papers required by TRADOC, Department of Army (DA), and other appropriate activities/agencies
- Provides written or oral recommendations to resolve discrepancies based on past actions, experience, and established regulations and procedure. Implements required changes as appropriate
- Assisting in the planning, development, coordination, implementation, and management of aviation training programs and studies in support of the USAACE training mission and objectives
- Prepares course completion documents for all Training Division courses. Controls input to data base of both official student records and instructor evaluation records. Coordinates information for input into the Army Training Requirements Resource System (ATTRS).

- Operates a computer terminal and uses appropriate software to prepare a variety of narrative and tabular material (i.e., branch correspondence, reports, technical papers, charts, statistical tables, manuals, travel orders, messages, and other documents) involving the common terminology of the unit for which the work is done and requiring accuracy in spelling, grammar, syllabication, and format. Prepares work in draft or final form. Receives and controls mail/distribution, routes items directly to staff members. Requisitions and receives supplies, equipment, forms, publications, and training materials.

- Coordinates meetings, briefings, organizational functions, and conferences. Compiles and types training development reports as required for presentation by supervisor. Assist the Division Training Technician as needed.

- Assists the Instructor of the Quarter/Year Program Manager with administrative duties associated with the program, but not limited to winner certificates, notification emails, review/update of narration, update and staffing of tasker, and assisting in the ceremony.

Skills:
- Must possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all acquisition systems assigned to the Aviation portfolio
- Strong professional, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Demonstrated cross-functional team collaboration skills in a rapidly changing, high-intensity, mission-oriented work environment
- Knowledge of Aviation Transformation and the future of the Aviation Branch
- Knowledge of organization, missions, and functions of various USAACE and TRADOC training departments along with analytical and investigative techniques necessary to develop training schedules and resource requirements in order to support the training base
- Knowledge of pertinent regulations, policies, and precedents that affect the use of the program and related support resources used in USAACE aviation training
- Ability to establish workflow methods and procedures, determine work to be accomplished, and set work priorities
- Excellent working knowledge of computer operations and software
Experience:
- Requires a minimum of 10 years' experience
- Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) of 25% may be required
