Department: Health and Wellness Reports to: Clinical Supervisor and Family Time Commitment: 10 - 15 hours per week .August 23, 2024 - May 16, 2025. Weekly schedule to be determined by supervisor and intern. Compensation: This is an unpaid internship. Interns receive mileage reimbursement when driving is required. Minimum Qualifications:Preferred Skills: * Patient, organized, independent * Able to respond compassionately and appropriately while working with people facing severe mental health needs or safety concerns, with supervision support * Experience working with diverse populations and building trusting relationship across cultures Required Skills: *Must be enrolled in a graduate program in Social Work or Counseling * Second year student or advanced standing * Comfortable with a high level of client interaction * Must be able to transport clients in a reliable vehicle Standard of Professional Conduct:The IRC and the IRC workers must adhere to the values and principles outlined in the IRC Way - our Code of Conduct.
