Summary Removes and stacks lumber coming off the off-feed side of a component saw onto a lumber cart. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Removes cut lumber from the off-feed side of component saw, stacks lumber onto rolling carts to be used to move cut parts into the shop. Positions carts around component saw to stack lumber on. Measures and labels lumber coming off component saw. May gather small lumber pieces and save them in designated area for other uses. Moves carts from component saw area to lumber staging area. Works in conjunction with the saw operator to ensure efficient production levels. Keeps area organized and clean. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
