Overall Summary:

The National Sales Director develops new business opportunities and manages existing customer relationships for IWCO's broad range of services in the direct marketing arena.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:



  • Research accounts and potential contacts, make connections, and create opportunities to share the Company's offerings.





  • Establish and achieve sales goals, objectives, and action plans to develop and maintain client profiles.



  • Create proposals, negotiate agreements, establish pricing and maintain strong overall client relationships.



  • Communicate value propositions to key accounts; effectively present and close new business.



  • Assure that clients receive exceptional, full service, best-in-class support, accurate forecasting, as well as consistent and timely follow-up.



  • Cultivate additional business from existing client base; generate potential new sales orders.





  • Develop proactive ways to create synergy and partnership with Client Services, Marketing and Production teams.



  • Establish a collaborative environment focusing on consistent service and quality results.



  • Report regularly on sales success rates; partner with other internal departments and staff to assure collaboration for reaching shared sales, revenue growth and margin improvements goals.



  • Lead and participate in regularly scheduled meetings to address customer improvement needs, innovative communication enhancements.



  • Streamline processes to achieve best in class service so customers view IWCO Direct as the preferred vendor for their direct marketing needs.





  • Support IWCO's mission to be the best in the industry; institute best practices and ensure that all actions, plans and services are supportive of IWCO's mission, culture and business philosophies.



  • Perform other (or other related) duties as applicable or assigned.



Required Skills/Abilities/Competencies:



  • A self-starter and excellent communicator with exceptional critical thinking, decision making and problem resolution skills.





  • Ability to build, maintain, and grow strong client relationships.



  • Advanced analytical/numerical ability, with outstanding organization, interpersonal and negotiation skills.



  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Word, PowerPoint and Excel.



Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Business, preferably with Sales, Marketing, or Communications focus.



  • 7+ years of progressive and successful Sales experience, preferably focused on national accounts within Marketing, Marketing Automation, Direct Marketing or Digital Advertising.



Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to work off hours to meet customer and company requests.


  • Ability to pass a pre-hire background check and drug screen
  • Occasional travel and additional time commitments required.
