Recruits patients and supports program expansion and orients new patients, and performs clinical assessments. Works closely with other disciplines and specialties within the department and hospital to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care. The Clinical Exercise Physiologist is responsible for assisting in the development of exercise protocols and prescriptions in cardiac rehab. Education: Work requires an advanced knowledge of theories, principles and concepts acquired through completion of a Master's degree in exercise physiology or closely related field and six months of previous experience. Required Licensure, Certification, Etc.: Valid CPR and ACLS required. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
