The Senior Intraoperative Monitoring Tech is responsible for performing and monitoring all modalities of intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring for neurosurgical, vascular, pediatric, ENT, orthopedic spine and interventional radiology procedures, including but not limited to: motor cranial nerve recording, spontaneous or evoked electromyography (EMG), spinal screw and direct nerve stimulation, intraoperative somatosensory evoked potential (SSEP), intraoperative electroencephalography (EEG), intraoperative brainstem auditory evoked potential (BAER), intraoperative transcranial electrical motor evoked potentials (TCeMEP) during neuro-surgery or invasive radiological intervention localization of sensorimotor cortex.

Be a part of an expanding neurosurgical and spine surgery IOM

Shift: Full-time, rotating shift, 40 hours/week

Education, Experience and Licensure/Certification:

* Knowledge of theories, principals, and concepts typically acquired through completion of a Bachelor's degree in anatomy/physiology biological sciences, or a closely related field

* A minimum of 6-12 months of IOM experience is required

* Certification for Neurophysiological Intraoperative Monitoring (CNIM licensure). Please know that there may be other opportunities for those without licensure, and we'd love to talk with you. You are welcome to apply.

* BLS certification

* Advanced knowledge of operating room procedures and protocols related to sterile technique and infection control.
