Parent Engagement Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Parent Engagement Coordinator will develop, support, and oversee a Washington College parent engagement strategy, to include communications, web content, relationship management, and events.

The Parent Engagement Coordinator will be an integral member of the Advancement team and enjoy a collaborative, lighthearted camaraderie with the team, invested in advancing the College through relationships and resources. Responsibilities include facilitating communications with parents and developing systems and procedures for increasing parent engagement by working closely with all faculty, student, athletic, and community organizations on campus and in the community.

The successful candidate will bring a high level of care and accountability to all areas of their work. They will be able to manage and connect with internal and external constituents and set a standard for parent communication and attentiveness. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to this position.

Position title and compensation will vary based on experience level of the candidate - the options available are Coordinator or Director.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Undergraduate degree preferred
• Project management experience, organized and experienced in multi-tasking and discerning required duties and expectations to handle multiple projects at once
• Commitment to become an active participant in the school campus and community
• Experienced knowledge and use of office technology, hardware, and software, with a preference for Microsoft Office products
