Assistant, Associate or Full Professor (HS Clinical, Clinical X, In-Residence, Adjunct) Radiology

The Department of Radiology (http://radiology.ucsd.edu) at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body and seek to recruit full or part-time academic radiology faculty.

The Department of Radiology is one of the most innovative and productive academic departments in the country, offering state-of the-art services for clinical and translational studies.

The selected candidates will participate in all activities of the department, including trainee engagement, scholarly activity including teaching, and University service.

The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate's background and experience.

As a member of the Health Sciences Compensation Plan, the appointee should be aware that there are limitations on outside professional activities, and clinical moonlighting is expressly prohibited. Appointments may require candidates to be self-funded.

Candidates must have a MD, DO or equivalent, or PhD in health related fields.

Candidates with a MD, DO or equivalent must be Board certified or Board eligible in Radiology.

Candidates with a MD, DO or equivalent must also have or be eligible for a California medical license or equivalent certification/permit as determined by the Medical Board of California.
