Assistant Track Coach and Strength and Conditioning Coach

Coach will follow all NCAA compliance rules and report to Assistant Director of Athletics Compliance and Student Athlete Services, the Director of Athletics, and The Associate VP of Athletics and Student Affairs. Coach will be responsible for establishing good working relationships and willing to help out with departmental needs. Coach will need to maintain a competitive program and good retention along with continuously bringing in new recruits.


Job Summary

Assists the Head Coach with all aspects of a sports program. Recruits athletes, mentors athletes, fosters athletic, emotional, and academic group of student athletes. Oversees sports equipment, practice plans and schedules, skill development, designs coaching strategies. Oversees public and media relations. Coordinates team travel and schedule. Adheres to all rules and regulations.


Essential Functions

Coaching, recruiting, teaching Phys Ed classes and working Summer Camps.


Physical Effort

Very physical to include walking, running, playing sports, traveling.
