Description

Prepares, creates and serves top quality and visually appealing sandwiches, salads and sides in a fast paced environment. Responsible for handling all meal plan transactions by use of a PC register. Must have knowledge of menu item pricing, including knowledge of meal plan program.

Will adhere to safety & sanitation guidelines and conduct themselves in a professional manner & appearance with excellent customer service skills, while offering a warm welcome to our customer. Must be a team player and work well with others. Hourly rate expected to be $15 to $20 per hour.



  1. Maintains proper food handling, safety and sanitation standards while preparing food, serving food and clean up. This includes, but is not limited to:



  • Clean, proper uniforms at all times (safety shoes, cut glove, thermometer, hat)
  • Taking & recording product temperatures four times per shift
  • Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, equipment, utensils
  • Proper labeling of all food




Assigned work station



  • Completely set up no later than 15 minutes prior to opening
  • All menu items must be fully stocked, at all times, if items are missing, must communicate to Supervisor for alternatives.
  • Adequate serving utensils and proper portion control vessels must be in place and used at all times.
  • Responsible for dishes, wiping down counters, windows/glass dividers, walls, shelves and equipment. Sweeping and mopping spills immediately and clean work stations as you go.




Production



  • Required to prep for next meal period according to the needs of the business.
  • Communicate to Manager/Supervisor on duty any items needing to be prepped or ordered
  • Assist fellow workers with production as needed.
  • Must be able to read and follow recipes as per the brand specification.
  • Must follow the standards set forth in the brand manuals. All foods need to be fresh and served to meet the expectations of our customers.



Record Keeping & Labeling



  • Responsible for daily upkeep and cleanliness of the walk-ins, reach-ins and temp logs.
  • Required to store left over food properly- all food should be removed and placed in new holding pan and stored in left over box, labeled and stored at safe temperatures. Required to properly handle cool down and reheating of leftovers and proper labeling
  • Responsible for recording waste and leftover logs on a daily basis.


Required to take temperatures four times per shift on all prepared items. Duties requested by management and must check-in with immediate supervisor before leaving.
