Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant - Department of Urology- Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery

As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.

We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:

• Provide care to adult urology and urogynecology patients primarily in the area of women's health including urinary incontinence, pelvic organ prolapse and overactive bladder in the department of Urology
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team to provide comprehensive care to both well and ill patients in a primarily outpatient setting.
• Participate in weekly urology academic conferences.
• Perform routine clinical procedures independently as outlined in practice agreements/scope of practice including, but not limited to: catheter insertions, catheter changes, and complex bladder irrigation, pessary fitting, percutaneous tibial nerve stimulation (PTNS), InterStim device interrogation

Education:
If Nurse Practitioner: Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant: Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.

Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum - State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:

• Active RN and APRN certifications and licenses, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active board certification as a NP in area of clinical practice. These may include the following:
  
  
  
  • Family Practice Nurse Practitioner
  • Adult/Gerontology Nurse Practitioner
  
  

If Physician Assistant*:

• Active PA license, including prescriptive authority, in state(s) of practice AND
• Active PA board certification

All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire
