Provides leadership in clinical practice, education, and professional development for Respiratory Care Services (RCS) staff by identifying and assessing clinical and behavioral competencies. Works collaboratively with RCS Clinical Manager and RCS Coordinators as a member of the RCS Leadership Team to ensure excellence in the care of children and families. Role models clinical and critical thinking expertise. Assists in improvement opportunities and ensures educational efforts support RCS goals, strategic plans, and quality improvement initiatives.

As an RT Clinical Supervisor at Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital, you'll deliver specialized, patient-centered respiratory care that is at the forefront of medical innovation. Your work will be guided by evidence-based practices, ensuring that every treatment, research initiative, and educational effort is rooted in the highest standards of care.

You'll be a key player in our interprofessional team, driving exceptional patient outcomes and contributing to the department's goals through your accountability for compassionate and safe care. With a focus on continuous learning and academic growth, you'll be part of a culture that values innovation and professional development. By adhering to the rigorous standards set by the Florida Board of Respiratory Care and JHACH policies, you'll help shape the future of respiratory therapy at one of the nation's leading healthcare institutions.

Qualifications:




  • Education: Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Licensure & Certification: Current Florida Respiratory Therapist Licensure and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Education Background: Graduate of a Registered Respiratory Therapy Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in neonatal/pediatric critical intensive care.
  • Certifications:

    • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification from the American Heart Association.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification if working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
    • Neonatal/Pediatric Specialist (NPS) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).




Salary Range: Minimum $35.99 per hour - Maximum $57.58 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
