There's also easy access to several Coast Ranges, and the San Francisco Bay area. We are looking for a geotechnical engineer to grow our infrastructure markets. A geotechnical engineer with specific experience in levee design and construction to support our strong backlog of work is preferred. The candidate should be familiar with USACE design criteria and the Urban Levee Design Criteria. This role will focus on classical geotechnical engineering including site characterization, soil mechanics, shallow and deep foundations, seepage and stability analyses, earth retention structures, seismic assessment, and soft ground construction. Level Placement Typically, depending on an applicant's education, experience, other qualifications they possess, if they are a fit for the company and local office culture, and the current business needs, a Senior-Level Geotechnical Engineer typically would be placed at a Shannon & Wilson Associate or Senior Associate level.
