Under the supervision of the Executive Director, the Projects Coordinator will be responsible for contributing to new and ongoing research projects and programs at the Center for Microbiome Innovation. Provide high-level administrative support for programs and special projects of a complex nature; coordinating relations with faculty, staff, students, private industry, and government organizations; organizing and prioritizing reports and information requests for timely completion; troubleshooting and independently resolving assorted operational problems; acting as a liaison for project directors with vendors, campus units, public and private agencies, national and international colleagues, and publishing houses. Act as a liaison between the projects/programs, industry sponsors, and participating member groups; assisting in the coordination of new research initiatives and educational programs; planning large research group events including technical coordination of demonstrations; arranging meetings among current and potential investigators and with industry partners; assist with complex travel and meeting calendars for project participants; coordinate and execute arrangements for meetings, seminars, and conferences. Assist the Executive Director in the administration of internal-facing funding efforts including the Grand Challenges, and Microbial Sciences Graduate Student Research program. Responsibilities will include general advertisement, collection and coordination of applications and input from review committees established by the Executive Director. Responsible for interpretation and implementation of appropriate policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure compliance with the terms of industry supported projects. Responsible for providing complex analysis and reports on CMI projects and programs. ~Cover letter required for a complete application. QUALIFICATIONS
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $66,252 - $102,416 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $31.73 - $49.05 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
